Ms. Savita Koshy - CEO & Director
Savita is a Masters in Special education (2007) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Learning disability from Macquarie University, Sydney (2007). She completed her Diploma in Special Education-Cerebral Palsy , RCI-India (2004) and Diploma in Inclusive Education from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. (2005)
Her work experience involves working as a part of the interdisciplinary team of Spastic Society of Karnataka from 2004-2007. She is also an external examiner to Spastics Society of Karnataka for the RCI-CP practical examinations.
She started her association with Kara 4kids as Special Educator in May 2008. During her long association with Kara4kids, she has been the Head of Centre following which she moved on to conceptualize the special education program at Kara 4 kids. She is the Program Director of Nidhi Early Interventions and Early Start Interventions.
Dr. Gayatri Kiran - Director & Technical Consultant
Gayatri Kiran is a Doctorate in Psychology from Bangalore University and is a Post Graduate Alumnus & UGC Research Fellow of Delhi University. She has more than 20 years of experience in the area of Early Childhood Care and Education, including special needs in early years. She is the Founder Director of Samyukta Child Development Consultancy, a Bangalore- based consultancy firm which offers technical support to organisations working in the areas of early childhood care education and special needs; as also private affordable schools.
She started her career working as a Senior Psychologist with mainstream schools and special needs centres. She has worked as a part of the team that established and managed the early intervention centre [for children aged 0-6 years] in Spastics Society of Karnataka, Bangalore. During this time she also taught Psychology and Child Development in the Diploma courses for about 13 years.
Kiran Devariya - Investor & Advisor
After a rewarding 26 year Corporate career in Engineering and IT companies, Kiran has shifted gears and has been associated with the development sector over the last 4 years. Besides being an experienced Professional in Supply Chain and Business Operations, he brings in expertise in Organisation Design & Structure, General Management and Strategic planning.
Sumana R. Kumar - Web support consultant
Sumana has a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Fergusson College, Pune; and a postgraduate diploma in Special Education (multiple disabilities: physical and neurological) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. She is a certified specialist in Handwriting without Tears®. As a special educator, she has a demonstrated record of working with children from the ages 2-16 years. She has experience of working with the Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) systems, such as Avaz and Proloquo2Go, by incorporating them in her curriculum. She has shared her experiences thus far in the field, at the annual workshop of Vani Speech and Hearing Clinic, Jabalpur in 2019.

Nandita Pradeep - Speech Language Pathologist.
Nandita graduated from Manipal University with a Masters in Audiology and Speech language pathology. She has worked extensively with toddlers, school age children and adults with a variety of speech, language, feeding and communication disorders. She keeps herself updated about the current research and practices in the field by attending online conferences and webinars. She believes in a family inclusive intervention program to facilitate an optimum development in the child.
S Vinitha - Developmental Therapist
She has a Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Manipal University. She has attended workshops on Sensory Integration and Causes and Effects of Handwriting Difficulties and Potential Strategies. She has worked with children with disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down's Syndrome and Developmental Delay.
Agila - Special Educator
Agila completed her bachelors in commerce and masters from psg Coimbatore. Agila's love of working with children motivated her to enroll in the School of Positive Psychology's postgraduate diploma program in child psychology and intervention in Singapore. She had a brief career working with children who have learning disabilities, ADHD, and ASD in Mumbai.
Shubha Rao - Special Educator
Shubha has volunteered for more than 6 years at The Spastics Society of Karnataka working with age groups ranging from 4 yrs to 18 years.
She has a variety of interests that include being a part-time qualified German teacher, baking healthy products & mentoring children.
She finds working with autistic children a very rewarding & inspiring experience. Their love & trust is humbling & motivates her to do better.
She feels that working here with them makes every day worth it!!
Nandhini S - Learning Support Co-ordinator
An energetic and passionate service provider for the society and community that needs skills. "Work is worship" is not just an old saying but life itself for me. It makes me give any job the best of what I have learnt and experienced.
Nandhini graduated from Bangalore University with a Bachelor's in Rehabilitation Science and Psychology. She started her career as an Assistant teacher working with autistic children. She has 3 years of work experience involving diverse areas such as speech therapy, behaviour modification, behaviour assessment, occupational therapy, soft skills training, class room delivery and special education.
Esther - Learning Support Co-ordinator
Esther graduated from Mount Carmel College with a Master’s degree in Psychology (2022). She has completed certificate courses in Teacher Talk – Hanen Training Series and a short-term Special Education Training course.
During her academic journey, she completed a range of internships and service learning projects to gain hands-on experience in the field of psychology. She has experience in conducting therapy sessions, administering psychological assessments, and developing treatment plans for clients with a range of mental health conditions. She has also worked with children and families in various projects, including providing academic support, conducting awareness programs on child sexual abuse, and working with people with disabilities.
